AAC Synergy sets a new yield standard for two row malt barley in Western Canada.  It offers a favorable quality profile that includes relatively low protein with high plump, high extract and low beta-glucan level, complementing a good foliar disease package. AAC Synergy combines great yield potential with favorable quality for the malt market.

Through coop registration trials, CDC Durango averaged 107% of CDC Austenson for grain yield potential and showed superior lodging tolerance. CDC Durango is the CDC Austenson replacement we’ve been waiting for and should perform well in all barley growing regions of western Canada.

CDC LIMA CL LARGE GREEN LENTIL

CDC Lima is a high yielding yellow cotyledon large green Clearfield* lentil variety. CDC Lima has a larger seed which is also thicker, making CDC Lima more suitable for lentil dehulling.  It also boasts improved lodging, disease resistance, and colour retention.

CDC NIMBLE RED LENTILS

CDC Nimble CL® is an imidazolinone tolerant small red lentil with high yield potential in all lentil growing areas. CDC Nimble CL® is rated ‘MR’ for Ascochyta Blight and Anthracnose Race 1. CDC Nimble CL® has early to medium maturity. It has a gray seed coat colour and red cotyledon colour.

NIMBLE-SMALL-RED-LENTILS

JIMINI SMALL GREEN LENTILS

CDC Jimini (IBC-1014-SG) is a high yielding small green Clearfield® lentil variety. In 8 years of testing in the Lentil Regional Variety Trials, CDC Jimini yielded 108% in the brown and dark brown soil zones (zones 1 & 2) and 99% in the black and dark grey soil zones (zone 3 & 4) compared to CDC Maxim. Compared to the Clearfield(R) small green lentil variety CDC Invincible, CDC Jimini yielded 14% higher in zones 1 & 2, and 18% higher in zones 3 & 4. CDC Jimini also yields 2% higher than the conventional small green lentil CDC Kermit. Seed diameter and thickness are both higher than that of CDC Invincible, making CDC Jimini more suitable for lentil dehulling. Disease resistance of CDC Jimini is similar to CDC Invincible.
